BALI
16th May 2014
Hello surfers and a very big thank you for tuning into the baliwaves.com (there is only one baliwaves, since 1999) for today’s news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little tropical holiday island that has got something for everyone, Bali.
Ok our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing some solid lumps of swell breaking between Kuta reef and Airport Left. The tide was just starting to roll back in and the wind was light out of the NNE, while wave height was in the head to double head high plus class.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery we did another runner back over to the East Coast and that’s what we found. Some solid sized 4-6ft with a few 8ft bombs coming through to keep everyone on their toes. But the waves were peeling off nicely from the inside and crowd wise I think everyone was happy with the low numbers.
Weather wise, yep you guessed it, just another hot and sunny day here in Bali. The SE Tradewind started to pick up in strength around 11.00AM where we were.
Ok friends stay tuned cause we’ll be out there all through the weekend looking for more quality Bali waves.
