BALI
26th May 2014
Hi everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (non stop since 1999) for the start of another surfing week right here on the no brainer for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
This morning’s 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was still only showing wave height in the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right. The tide still had another hour or so to run in and the wind was light out of the NE. But we knew our new swell had to start showing soon.
So as it shows in today’s photo gallery we took ourselves over to the East Coast to see if there were any waves happening at Keramas. Our first glimpse of the ocean at Secrets was showing solid waves in the 4-5ft+ region so we were looking good. But on first sight of Keramas there was at least 30 surfers in the water with a light on shore wind. Wave height up there was surprisingly still only in the 2-4ft range. But hey as it shows there were still some really nice waves breaking.
Weather wise today it’s been another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island and right now at 5.00PM the outside temperature is still a warm 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 65%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE at 10-15knot.
Ok folks there’s still going to be plenty of waves around for us again tomorrow so make sure ya stay tuned right here to the original baliwaves.
