BALI
25th May 2014
Hello to all you surfers tuning into the baliwaves.com (the original baliwaves since 1999) for today’s Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little tropical surfing holiday destination that’s always in season, Bali.
This mornings surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height in the 1-2ft range at best between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was almost at the top at the time and the wind coming lightly out of the North.
So knowing there wasn’t a hell of a lot of swell out there we settled on heading South down to Bali’s premier surfing location, and swell magnet, Uluwatu. Arriving not long after 8.00AM to find wave height still holding in the 2-3ft range with some bigger freak sets hitting the Main Peak. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy but the wind was just coming lightly out of the WSW. Crowd wise it was pretty good while we were on the scene with 60 surfers spread from Temple’s right down to the Racetrack.
Special Hello to Devis & Tenshi
Weather wise it’s been a classic Sunday here on Bali, pretty well nuthin but blue sky and sunshine all day.
Ok that’s all I’ve got for ya’s now but we are expecting a new swell to hit Bali any time in the next 24hrs. So stay tuned to the baliwaves cause we’ll be out there again tomorrow all over it.
