BALI
10th – 11th June 2014
Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves (bringing it to you since 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on every sane surfers favorite tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Firstly we shot this current 61 strong photo gallery yesterday the 10th here on Bali’s West Coast. Arriving up there just after sun up to find wave height a solid 3-4ft with a few sneaker double head high 5 footers every now an again. Surfing conditions were as good as they get with the Northerly wind blowing pretty well straight off shore through till late morning. No shoretage of left or right handers up at Canggu and the crowd level, I’d have to say was normal with 25 on the right and 3 or 4 of the sandbar.
Weather wise it was grey and overcast all the time we were on the beach and there was even a few drops of rain.
Today the 11th and we were up early again and chasing some more perfect waves. Yesterday afternoon wave height had backed off some so we were heading back to the same location and hoping to score some more of the good stuff. I ended up shooting a tonne of photos up there today and I’ll get them on line for ya’s ASAP. Today wave height had mellowed out and a really fun 2-4ft for the most of it. Surfing conditions were just as good with a light off shore wind lasting until 10.45AM.
Weather wise today it was more like Bali weather with non stop blue sky and sun shine. Temperature wise it had to be at least in the low 30’s Celsius on the beach.
