Hi folks and thanks for droppin into the baliwaves (delivering the goods since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the place where you should be, Bali.
First up today’s photo gallery was shot down at Balangan beach on the southern end of the island. Wave height was in the 2-3ft range with the odd slightly over head wave. We were trying to get out of the wind down at Balangan but as you can see the off shore was howling.
Ok so this mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be still in the 2-2ft+ sector between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still runnin g out and the Trade wind already cranking it up to 10-15knot. We were counting on the predicted new swell to start showing on the incoming tide and that’s exactly how it panned out.
So Ketut and the crew headed South down to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Arriving to find wave height in the 3-4ft+ and the tide just starting to push back in. I’ll get today’s photo’s edited and on line for ya ya’s ASAP and you’ll be able to see for yourselves just how big some of the set waves were by late morning.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report thanks to Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp was calling in perfect waves in the 3-4ft through the morning and then more perfect waves in the 5-8ft class through the afternoon.
Thinking of getting over to Joyo’s G-Land surf camp for some perfect waves this season ? Just hit this contact us link and baliwaves.com will hand you a 10% discount for your next G-Land surfing adventure, as simple as that.
But first we have got to get this sea food BBQ cranking here at Home Base and the beers a little bit cooler. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf report cause we’ll be out there chasing waves all through the weekend.
Weather wise it was another mainly over cast morning with more sunny breaks through the arvo. Right now at 5.45PM the outside temp is on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 73%. Wind direction is out of the SE at 15-18knot.
