7th June 2014
Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend here on the bvaliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest nnews and best darn views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Ok so as we mentioned in yesterdays surf report Uluwatu is where we were yesterday and by late morning it had jumped in the easily 6 – 6 foot plus set range. And as it shows in our new photo gallery it was indeed cranking.
This morning the 7th and we were up at the crack of dawn to see if the wind was going to back off or keep on blowing hard. Keep blowing hard it was, and our 6.45AM surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing slightly bigger again waves. head to double head high plus between Kuta Reef to Airport Left with the tide just starting to run out. Kuta Reef did have some good size and shape but the off shore wind was howling into it. You know the type of session you have in a really strong off shore wind and your eye’s end up “dogs dick pink” from the spray coming off the lip, well that’s how it was.
Today’s G-Land surf report from Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height in the 4-6ft+ range with blue sky and strong off shore wind. Speaking of and the boys at Joyo’s have sent us over another 50 strong photo gallery to check out. Keep your eye on our “RECENT POST” section and it’ll be there pronto.
Thinking of getting over to Joyo’s G-Land surf camp for some perfect waves this season ? Just hit this contact us link and baliwaves.com will hand you a 10% discount for your next G-Land surfing adventure, as simple as that.
We’ve also loaded up another surf report and collection of photos from our friends at the Kandui surf resort up in the ever popular Mentawai Island chain. You’ll find that under “Kandui Mentawai” in our surf report section.
I know a guy that wants to sell 25% share of a resort in the Mentawai Islands, directly in front of Lances Left. You can see what the deal is at: http://www.surfersjournal.com/surf_property/kingfisher
