Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the tropical surfing paradise island of Bali.

Ok so what we have first up is a mammoth 115+ strong photo gallery that we shot over the last two days from locations of Padang Padang, Impossible’s, Bingin and and even a couple from Uluwatu.

Yesterday we were down at Padang Padang watching and waiting to see if the RipCurl Padang Padang Cup Trials event would run or not. At 6.45AM there were some solid waves breaking at Padang Padang but as the tide ran out the swell also backed off and become a little less consistent. The opening photos in today’s gallery, were from Padang Padang. Then there was a chance the Trails would run at Bingin and that’s where the bulk of yesterdays photos were triggered. We also had a look at Uluwatu around 11.00AM and there were still some semi solid 6 – 8 footers breaking on the Bombie and Outside Racetrack but no Outside Corner.

Then to finish off our gallery we have some more mechanically perfect Bingin photos that we shot down there the day before on the 19th. There’s also a couple at the end from Padang Padang just as the swell was starting to build through the early afternoon.

Today the 21st and we were back down on the Bukit with wave height in the 3-5ft class with perfectly clean conditions and long rides. We’ll get those photos edited for ya’s and on line as soon as poss.

Weather wise it’s been a 50/50 type of day with equal parts of cloud and sun shine for us here on the island. Right now at 5.00PM the outside temperature is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is 73%. Wind direction is SE at 12 – 14knot+.
