Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com (delivering the goods since 1999) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.

Ok so here’s our selection of photos from when we were down on the bukit yesterday. And I do have to say some perfect timing put us right onto some perfect waves at the always beautiful Balang beach. As it shows wave height was pushing the double head high range with nice and clean off shore wind.

I also would have liked to have been up at Padma st Beach for the Quiksilver Padma Challenge and the start of the big Big Eco weekend, but a promise is a promise. Hopefully we should get a press release shortly so hang in there on that one.

Today the 22nd and Ketut was down at Uluwatu for the 2nd Annual Quiksilver Uluwatu Challenge. A fantastic event where anyone can get to surf with some of the Quiksilver Team Legends like Mark Richards and Matthey Hoy just to name a few. With all money raised from the event going to environmental and beach clean-up programs in Bali.

Ketut managed to hang out with the legends until mid afternoon and managed to get some nice photos from the day. Wave height was in the 2-4ft+ sector with a light on shore wind through the morning then switching back off shore for the rest of the day. Some great surfing and some deep deep tube rides. We’ll get those up for you ASAP.

Weather wise it’s been a mostly cloudy day with some sunshine through the afternoon. Light wind out of the West through the morning before turning SE late morning.

Ok that’s us for now but the camera battery’s are on charge and we’ll be heading off for another early morning session, somewhere in Bali tomorrow. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf report.
