BALI
3rd – 4th July 2014
Hi surfers and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves.com (delivering the goods since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Kicking off the show with our current photo gallery that Ketut shot down at Uluwatu late yesterday afternoon just before sun set. As you can see there were still some solid waves pouring through the Racetrack section on the bottom end of the low tide.
Today the 4th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be still in the very fun shoulder to over head high range. That’s between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, while surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the off shore SE Trade wind already doing it’s thing.
But we opted to head down towards to the southern end of the island and get some slightly bigger waves. Arriving at 9.00AM as the tide was starting to push back in to find wave height in the 3-4ft range with the odd double head high set wave. Only 18 surfers spread through the 200mtr line up and surfing conditions as clean as can be. We’ll get those photos edited and loaded up for ya’s first thing in the morning.
Weather wise today I’d have to say it’s been another mainly overcast day with some sunny patches here on the holiday island of Bali.
Tomorrow we should see another spike in wave height so stay tuned to the original Bali surf report website cause we’ll be all over it.
