Hello surfers and another big thank you to everyone tuning into the baliwaves (bringing you a little piece of Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions here on friendly little tropical holiday island of Bali.

Ok so today’s 66 strong photo gallery features some waves from Balangan yesterday the 12th and from another spot we surfed at today over on the East Coast by ourselves.

Yesterday down at Balangan as it shows in the photos, wave height had backed off quite a bit but there were still some consistent head to well over head high set waves breaking on the point and through the middle section. Wind direction was still on shore out of the West through the morning so we took our time getting down there (the traffic down that end of the island made sure of that anyway). But it still wasn’t until maybe 11.00AM that the SE Trade wind eventually kicked in. Crowd wise it was pretty good through until midday when the numbers started to turn up.

Today the 13th and our first stop was at Keramas over on the East Coast. Arriving there at just after 8.00Am to find only 3 surfers in the water with wave height in the 4-6ft class with a lot of water moving. So everything was looking good, off shore wind and a rising tide until within minutes there was now over 20 surfers in the water so we got out of there and headed to a different location and ended up scoring some peaky little lefts and rights in the 2-4ft range to ourselves.
