Hello my friends and welcome back to your baliwaves (doing our best since 1999) for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok so with our 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs still showing some nice sized 3-5 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right. Surfing conditions were just as good with a light Easterly wind and rising tide.
But as it shows in today’s 45 strong photo gallery my crew headed straight for Balangan. Seeing as though it was lining up nicely yesterday we though we’d give it another whirl. And as you can see it was well worth the effort. Wave height was a consistent 3-5ft with maybe a couple of sneaker 6ft clean up sets every now and again. Surfing conditions were faultless and crowd wise there were only 8 surfers in the water when we arrived. And by 11.00Am there was still only 18 out there.
I also got a heads up from the boys at EGO SURF PHOTOGRAPHY down at Bingin calling in waves height still a just a touch too big on the morning rising tide, but showing promise for the afternoon low. I’ve also got another photo gallery from down there and will get it up on line ASAP.
Weather wise, Bali through and through, hot and sunny all day long.
Ok one of the better Lombok & Sumbawa surf charter boats sent me an email earlier to let you people know that they have 3 scheduled charters left to see out the season.
Dreamweaver has only three trips with seats available before the end of our scheduled 2014 season, the dates with seats still left are Sept 30 to Oct 7, Oct 9 to 16, and Oct 18 to 25.
