BALI
3rd – 4th September 2014
Hi surfers and thanks for checking in at the baliwaves.com (keeping you in touch with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so I guess you already have a fair idea that the waves here in Bali have been way below standard the last couple of days. Today’s photo gallery has a mixture from Uluwatu up front from today the 4th and from Canggu the last couple of day’s. Nothing worth writing home for that’s for sure but I don’t think anyone could really complain after the run of perfection we have had over the last few months here on the island of the Gods.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was only showing wave height in the 1-1ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were perfect with the wind blowing straight off shore out of the East.
Uluwatu this morning was only just breaking in the 1-2ft range from Temple’s down through to the Main Peak (re Twitter) with around 30 surfers scattered through the line up. Like I said nothing special but still a few waves for the grommets and the young at heart.
Tomorrow is also looking pretty small but we are going to get back out there and see if we can find something.
Weather wise today wasn’t too bad with a mostly blue sky down on the bukit. Right now at 5.30PM the temperature is still ok at 26 degree’s Celsius and the Humidity is at 68%. Wind direction is coming out of the E-SE at 8 – 12knot+
