BALI
4th – 5th October 2014
Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves.com (working through the weekends since 1999) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok today’s 90+ strong photo gallery features the ever perfect waves of Bingin, thanks to our great mates at EGO SURF PHOTOGRAPHY for delivering the goods this morning. Then we have around 30 photos that we shot up the coast a little ways at Canggu yesterday. Even though the wind was light on shore when we arrived surfing conditions were still clean and tidy with not a hell of a lot of surfers in the water either. Then the last handful of photos to finish off the gallery were from when I went out for a fish on the 3rd.
Today the 5th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height in the 1-2ft range with maybe a slightly bigger bomb set in the head high division hitting Middle Reef. The tide was just about on the top at the time and the wind pretty well non existent. Not a lot happening on Kuta Reef or Airport lefts.
Agung’s surf report from Warung Cetu over at Keramas was saying there were some nice fun sized waves on the main break with clean and glassy surf conditions lasting through until 10.00AM, around 20 – 25 surfers in the water.
Weather wise here on the holiday island we have had a mostly hot and sunny day with a little bit of cloud moving through this afternoon. Temperature wise right now at 4.30PM we have 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 62%. Wind direction is coming out of the SE-SSE at 9 – 12knot.
Tomorrow we have a slight bump in wave height predicted so we’ll be back out there on the wave hunt, so stay tuned right here with the original Bali surf report
Good luck to the Bunny’s this afternoon.
