BALI
25th October 2014
Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves for the latest news and best views from here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
Ok so this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing some nice little fun sized waves in the 2-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running in at the time (7.00AM) and the wind was clean off shore out of the East. Kuta Reef was looking the best with waist to head high waves but with a solid crew of surfers already out there. Middle Reef was picking up the bigger waves but sectioning out a bit. While Airport Left was in the waist to chest high range and also looking busy.
But today’s photo gallery was shot by Ketut who took the camera equipment for workout down at Bali’s premier surfing location and wave magnet, Uluwatu. As it shows in the photos wave height out on the main Peak was pushing the double head high range. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy but with the off shore wind picking up in strength by mid morning.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly hot and sunny day here along Bali’s West Coast with the E-SE Trade wind still delivering the goods. Today’s midday temperature would have easily busted the 30 degree Celsius mark.
Ok friends enjoy your Saturday night where ever you might be and drop in again tomorrow for the baliwaves Sunday Session, the original Bali surf report website since back in 1999.
