BALI
30th – 31st October 2014
Hi folks and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves.com (keeping you in the loop with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and bast views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
So how’s Uluwatu’s low tide Racetrack section looking in today’s 40+ photo gallery, tubular or what. These photos were snapped off down there yesterday morning while surfing conditions were like glass. And I’m not talking like 6.00AM or dawn patrol this was at 8.00AM with a total of 12 surfers in the water at the time.
Weather wise it turned out to be just your average hot and sunny day here on the holiday island. Real hot and real sunny, Ketut and I pushed the boat down after lunch yesterday and it stayed that way until the sun went down.
This morning the 31st and our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban as expected was showing wave height to be pretty well lapping on the reef in the 1 to only just 2 foor class. There was no wind at the time and the tide was still running out. I couldn’t image there being anything breaking on the top of the tide out there today. So Ketut and I have just been sharpening and changing wire trace all morning getting everything ready for tomorrow’s anual Kuta Beach Fishing Tournament. I’ve been in everyone of these since day 1 and I’ve been so close to making the podium (3ozs short one of 3rd one year) so hopefully we’ll have some luck tomorrow. Either way it’s going to be a great day with a big bunch of friends.
Weather wise right now at 3.30PM the outside temperatuyre is sitting on 32 degree’s Celsius and the wind is now back to the E-SE at 4knot.
Ok sorry crew I’m just getting ready to put the boat in the water for the Kuta Beach Fishing Tourno and just like 90% of my local bros it’s been a long night of talking fishing n drinking beers (4.45AM). Stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for more up dates ASAP.
