BALI
23rd – 24th November
Hello surfers and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves.com (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on our favorite tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Ok so like I mentioned in my Twitter up dates yesterday there were some clean as you like type waves peeling off on Kuta Reef and hard to go past. So it was down tools and kicking back here in Tuban all day.
This morning the 24th and my 6.45AM surf check on the Outers was showing a solid boost in wave height with 4-5ft+ waves breaking between Kuta reef and Airport left. The tide was still running in and the wind was light on shore out of the SW but still clean and glassy.
I had a few things I had to get through today so I just did a quick trip over to the East side and had a look at Serangan beach. By the time I got over there it was already 9.00AM and the wind was still kinda funky out of the S-SSE but still clean enough. There were some solid set waves peeling off both left and right pushing double to triple head high. Only 5 surfers in the water until 1 guy broke his board leaving 4.
I also had another surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban just before 5PM this arvo and it looked like wave height was already starting to back off. Surfing conditions were clean with a cross off shore SSE wind.
There’s also a couple of frames from the baliwaves.com Impossibles WEB CAM (hit the link) towards the end of today’s gallery and there looked to be still a few waves down on the bukit as well.
The Ando’s also sent through a text from Canggu also calling a lot more size out there this morning with the bombie breaking out behind Echo Left.
Weather wise today we had a lot more cloud cover happening for the most of today helping to keep that midday temperature a little more under control. I’d say there’s a chance for an over night shower as well, fingers crossed.
Coming up on the 29th of this month we have our annual Pantai JermanSport Fishing Tournament scheduled for another big day of fishing, fun and socializing. last year baliwaves finished in 4th slot so we’ll be battling it out again this year. Plus we are throwing down a memorial prize for my departed mate “Ondel” Rp1,000,000. for the biggest Spanish Mackerel.
Hey and if you don’t already know the price of Petrol & Diesel fuel was increased by around 23% last Monday. Everything in Bali comes to Bali on the back of a truck, so get ready for some price jerks real soon on everything !
