BALI
14th -15th November 2014
Hello friends of Bali and welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves (doing our own thing since 1999) for the latest news and best views from the place we’d all rather be, BALI.
Well to kick off the show today we’ve got some photos that Ketut shot here on Bali’s West Coast yesterday morning the 14th through the bottom of the tide and the start of the run in. As it shows there were some nice left and rights with clean surfing conditions. At the tide there was about 20 surfers riding the sand bottom and only a handful on the right hander.
Today the 15th and out 6.30Am surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was still showing some swell out there with 2-4 footers breaking between Kuta reef and Airport Left / Right. The tide was still running out at the time and the wind coming light out of the NNE. So yeah, Middle Reef was the best option out there for the early paddle.
Ketut has taken a run down to the Southern end of the island this morning (while I catch up on domestic stuff at home) and phoned through from Bingin calling in wave height also in that chest to slightly over head class. Clean surfing conditions with the wind cross / off shore. Hardly any surfers in the water at 8.00AM. So I’ll be looking forward to checking out his photos after lunch, stay tuned.
Our baliwaves Impossibles WEBCAM was also delivering some good looking lines this morning and I have grabbed a frame from last night and another one from this morning. So keep an eye on the cam right here

Weather wise outside this morning it’s been another warm and sunny start with lots of blue sky. Now at 10.00AM I’m starting to see some cloud move in from the South. Temperature wise ATM we have a warm 30 degree’s Celsius and perfect for the beach as usual. Wind direction is still NE but may swing to the Southern quadrant after lunch.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 1.8mtr High at 5.00PM
