Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since 1999) for the start of another surfing week and the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only place for your next hard earned tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Ok so here’s Ketut’s photos that he shot yesterday morning up at Canggu and as it shows, it was cranking to say the least. Nice waves with nice conditions and good clean off shore wind through the morning.
This morning the 17th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing, or rather not showing too much. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was down into the 1-2ft range. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with no wind and the tide just starting to run out. I’ve also loaded a couple of frames from today’s Impossibles webcam similar 1-2 footers with maybe the off bigger freak set. Looking for waves today Uluwatu would be the best bet with today’s fresh off shore ESE off shore wind. We are taking a break today but will be back out there again tomorrow so stay tuned.
Weather wise today it’s been a mainly hot and sunny day with a few clouds drifting through from time to time. Right now at 1.00PM the mercury is sitting on 32 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity at 74%.
The next tide today will be a 2.0mtr High at 7.00PM
It looks like a couple more days of small waves forecasted for Indonesia with our next little spike in wave height hopefully coming sometime Thursday.
