BALI
18th – 19th November 2014
Hello surfers and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Ok well I was pretty happy to see a nice little improvement in wave height when I went down for my 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. It wasn’t a helluva big boost in size but compared to yesterdays micro 0-1 footers it was great to see 1-2 footers out there today between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There was a couple of real sweet waist high waves peeing off on Kuta reef while the tide was still in. Surfing conditions couldn’t have been any better with hardly wind blowing except a faint off shore Easterly.
So we hung out a little longer here at home and made a bee line to Uluwatu around 10.00AM just as the tide was getting around the mid mark. Arriving to see some fun little 2-2ft plus waves and a clean off shore wind. Uluwatu always looks exceptionally pretty with a clean wind on it. And before long we were seeing some solid head high waves with a couple of slightly over head freak sets hitting the Main Peak. It was only a 1.5hr window I reckon when conditions were at their best as the wind ended swinging a little more to the SE-SSE about 12.00noon. So we had a feed of Mie Goreng and packed it up, oh yeah and I tell ya’s my 1000mm lens she don’t lie !
I’ve also posted a few images from our baliwaves Impossible’s (free) webcam from through out the day and by the look of it there’s been some fun waves happening down there as well. Check it out anytime right here,

Weather wise it’s been a top old day here on the holiday island of Bali. Pleanty of sun shine for the beach lovers and more clean off shore wind here along Bali’s premier coast line.
