BALI
22nd November 2014
Hello everyone and welcome back to you baliwaves (working through the weekends since back in 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination called Bali.
This mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing some healthy swell breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was around the middle of the run in so all 3 of the main sections of this living coral reef were producing waves. Middle reef was picking up the lions share as usual with some 3-4ft set waves (head to over head high). Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind super light out of the ENE.
But as it shows in our 40+ photo gallery today the boys and I headed over to the East Coast to see if we could find some un crowded waves. Our first stop was at Keramas and there were some nice hollow waves breaking but alas there were already 30+ surfers in the small line up. So we back tracked down the coast a little ways where there were also some tubey right handers and only 3 surfers in the water. After a session here we had another look at Keramas and now that the wind was light on shore there were only 5 surfers left out so we hit for another quick paddle. Nothing to rave about but the numbers were good.
I also had a phone through from the Ando’s up at Canggu and they were calling clean and tidy waves from Canggu all the way down to Batu Bolong.
There’s also a couple of frames from the baliwaves.com Impossibles WEB CAM towards the end of today’s gallery and there looked to be still a few waves down on the bukit as well. Check it out anytime right here,

Coming up on the 29th of this month we have our annual Pantai JermanSport Fishing Tournament scheduled for another big day of fishing, fun and socializing.
Weather wise today it’s been a very warm and sunny day and we can definitely feel summer approaching here in Indonesia. Temperature wise the midday mercury was around 34 degree’s Celsius.
Hey and if you don’t already know the price of Petrol & Diesel fuel was increased by around 23% last Monday. Everything in Bali comes to Bali on the back of a truck, so get ready for some price jerks real soon on everything !
