12th – 13th November 2014
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and greatest views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the Worlds No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Starting off the day with a 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs to reveal wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was still in that 1-3ft class. The tide was low so again there was only Middle Reef as a surfing option. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with hardly a breath of wind at the time.
So with smallish waves here along Bali’s West Coast we headed back down to the Southern end of the island to Uluwatu. As it shows in today’s photo gallery there were some nice waves in the chest to over head class breaking on the Racetrack and as the tide started to run in on the Main Peak and Temple sections as well. The big plus was that there was only a handful of surfers down there till mid morning.
Weather wise it was another mainly hot and sunny day with a few clouds drifting through from time to time. We did get a few drops of rain here in Tuban late afternoon and it looked pretty stormy up towards Seminyak / Canggu area.
This morning the 13th and right now at 4.10AM it’s a little bit too dark for a surf check but there are some stars showing. We’ll be hitting the road shortly for a solid drive up the coast to Balian. So stay tuned to the baliwaves as I’ll be up dating via Twitter and Instagram (@baliwaves)
The next tide today is going to be a 0.5mtr Low at 7.30AM.
