Hi folks and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves.com (delivering the goods from bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and best available views on surfing and weather conditions from here on our first choice tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.

Ok so the 25th was another strong wind small swell type day so we just called it a lay day. But I’m sure there were a few waves to be had for the must surf desperado’s here on vacation.

Yesterday the 26th was a whole different ball game with plenty of swell hitting the East side of the island. Our early morning surf check on the Outer reefs (re Twitter) was showing 2-3ft of strong on shore Westerly wind driven waves between Kuta Reef and Airport left.

So we waited for another new guest to arrive around midday and then headed over to Serangan once we had him settled in at Home Base. On arrival and as it shows in today’s 55 strong photo gallery wave height was in the 3-5ft range (head to double head high) with the couple of slightly bigger freak sets just to keep us on our toes. Surfing conditions were a little bit testy with the wind strong cross off shore coming out of the WSW at 12knot. Stand out surfer was Quiksilver Team riders Devis Ratif’s young son Tenshi Ishii. Devis’s youngest 7yr old Surya was also out there ripping up the reforms.

Weather wise it was a warm old afternoon over on the East Side and a rain free evening here in Tuban.

Today the 27th and our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to be still in that 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with only a light Northerly breeze in effect. We’ll be heading back over to the East side as soon as the tide starts it’s run in so stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report.

Weather wise this morning it’s not a bad looking day coming on for the lucky one’s here on vacation. We have a mostly blue sky for now but there are some solid cloud banks down to the South. Temperature wise right now at 8.30AM the mercury is sitting on 29degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 83%. Wind direction is now comin gout of the West at 5-10knot.
