BALI
26th – 27th February 2015
Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves ( Keeping you in touch with Bali since 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
Hey and as it shows yesterday we were up and on the road long before the roosters started crowing. More than likely while a lot of people were still getting down in the clubs as well. Once again another well worth the effort surf trip and a happy crew of surfers. We pulled up after 2.5hrs on the road to find an empty line up with consistent head to well over head high waves were peeling off for a couple a hundred yards. Not too mention a clean off shore wind that hung around till well after mid morning.
By the time our crew was in the water we were also joined by 3 other surfers but crowd wise I don’t think it would have gone into the double figure mark until after we were done as the tide started to fill in. A big thanks to the Medewi locals for a great day.
Weather wise it was mostly over cast up the coast yesterday morning with more sunshine busting out mid to late morning.
Today the the 27th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing waist to chest waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were still fairly clean. The tide was running out and the wind light out of the WNW.
Ketut has gone for a run over to the East Coast to see what’s on and hopefully shoot us another fresh photo gallery. So make sure you keep an eye on our “RECENT POSTS” section located down on the bottom right hand side of the page.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 1.8mtr High around 5PM this afternoon.
Weather wise so far this morning we’ve already had a few drops of rain but now at 11.00PM there’s a lot more blue sky and the temperature is currently on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 84%. Wind is comin gout of the West at 3-5knot.
Make sure you check out the new VIDEO CLIP we have loaded up from our good friend down at Uluwatu Made Ropik featuring another one of our good friends Wayan GOBLEG Suyadnya doing what he does best.
