BALI
18th March 2015
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and hands down best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination callen Bali.
Ok so here’s another 60+ strong photo gallery that we shot down at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu using our 1000mm lens to get as close to the action as possible. We arrived on the scene at 7.30AM to find wave height in the 2-3ft range with a clean off shore wind and the tide still on the run up. And as the tide did push in we started to see some over head set waves. Crowd wise the numbers were good with only maybe 30 surfers scattered from Temple’s right down to the top end of the Racetrack. We hung out for two sessions but the early morning definitely had the best waves.
As the tide was running out through midday the number of surfers in the water jumped into the 70+ range from Temple’s to the Track. The set waves were also getting rare now the focus was shifting to 2-2ft+ Racetrack. The wind by this time had also swung more to the S-SSE but surfing conditions were still clean and tidy on the Track.
Weather wise it was clear sailing down on the bukit with non stop blue sky.
So if your heading over to Bali and planing on staying as close as possible to Uluwatu. Somewhere where everyone is going to be happy then you had better check out this place now. http://www.threemonkeysvillas.com
