Hi surfers and yeah thanks again for dropping by the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for the latest news and views from all over the place from right here on our favorite place to be Bali.
Ok so here’s another 60 odd photos we shot today for ya’s from over on the East Coast here on the holiday island. Our first surf check was at Secrets around 8.30AM to find some nice punchy beach breaks in the 2-3ft range. Surfing conditions were perfect with the wind clean off shore but there were already 10 surfers in the water and more getting ready to hit it.
So we cruised up the road just a little further to Kapung Pt where wave height was rocking through very consistently in the 3-4ft and maybe even a couple of slightly bigger freak sets. As it shows there was no shortage of bowl sections and carve-able walls on offer. There was also no shortage of surfers with 20 odd surfers on the main break and another half a dozen or sitting further up the point.
Weather wise we did get some patches of sun shine but other than that it’s been a mostly over cast / cloudy type of day. Driving home around midday we struck heavy rain that lasted most of the way home to Tuban. Right now at 4.45PM there’s still some rain left to fall later this evening. Temperature wise we have a cool 25 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 90%. Wind direction is comin gout of the SW 5-8knot.
