BALI
2nd March 2015
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (sharing some Bali waves with you since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week and the latest news and views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your favorite place to be, Bali.
Ok so as it shows in today’s photo gallery we have been still taking advantage of the clean and tidy, not too mention un crowded early morning surfing conditions. This morning we pulled up at Serangan at 6.30AM to find some quality left and rights peeling off as the tide was pushing in. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming lightly out of the NW and off shore. And for the icing on the cake only 1 surfer already in the water.
So everything lined up for the baliwaves team again this morning with a very low and mellow crowd, up until 8.30AM that is. At that time it seemed that half the surf schools had coordinated to meet over there with an instant crowd and assorted water craft. Complete with kooks being pushing into waves. The thing about the surf schools is that they just churn out instant kooks with no etiquette, and basically no wave knowledge. I bet you never learn’t in a “surf school” I’m damn sure I never, I learn’t with my friends in the shore breaks / foamies where we couldn’t get in any experienced surfers way.
Weather wise so far today it’s been a real beauty out there with non stop sunshine. Temperature wise right now at 2.30PM the mercury is sitting on 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 72%. Wind direction is coming from the West at 4-8knot.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 0.8mtr Low @ 2.30PM
Tomorrow the 3rd also has a Full Moon rising so we’ll be seeing some solid tidal ranges over the next 3-4 days
We would also like to give CARVE visionaries a big welcome aboard the baliwaves and you’ll be seeing more from them through out 2015.
