Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you in the loop since back in 1999) for our latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
Yesterday morning the 30th and we split up into two teams with Ketut heading down along the Legian stretch of beach breaks and Slim making the trip down to the bukit to see what was up at Uluwatu. Arriving at Uluwatu to find 1-2ft waves with a couple of slightly bigger freak set waves. But surfing conditions were clean as a whistle and the water warm so no harm in a quick paddle just to get some salt water over the body, right. Crowd wise when the boys paddled out at 7.30AM there was probably around 10 other surfers in the water.
While Ketut ended up at Padma St beach breaks of Legian to find wave height and surfing conditions pretty much the same in that area. Plenty of blue sky and warm water with some small but clean waves. I’m hoping that this morning the 31st we will see a slight improvement on wave height, and I’ll know in another 20 mins as soon as the sun pops up and I go down for a quick recon on the Outer reefs here in Tuban.
