BALI
20th April 2015
Hello everyone and thanks for hanging around the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from her on the place we’d all rather be, Bali.
Ok today we were tossing up to go back over to the East Coast and mix it with the crowds or just go surf at Kuta Reef with half a dozen or so surfers. Surfing conditions over on the East side this morning would have been clean and glassy at the very least. While Kuta Reef had a light on shore wind blowing from the NW – W on it, but still surfing conditions were clean enough. And you know the old saying “I’d rather surf less than perfect waves with just a few friends any day”. So it was a hands down decision to hit Kuta reef. It wasn’t too bad until the high tide filled it in with wave height in the 2-4ft range.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly hot and sunny day here on the West Coast, as usual.

Ok friends just a quick one for now but I do have more photos and reports from our friends at the Kandui Surf Resort up in the Mentawai Islands and from the good folks at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp to get on line for ya’s. So check in again soon for that stuff.
I hope your liking our new design for the baliwaves, especially if your checking us out from a mobile device.
