BALI
1st April 2015
Hi surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (the original and only baliwaves since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions. From both sides of the No.1 tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Right so as it shows in our 50+ strong photo gallery we were over surfing on the Eastern side of the island at Keramas. We turned up at 7.30AM to find some smoking 3-4ft+ waves grinding through on the main break with a light off shore wind on it. But there was also a hungry crew of resort surfers in the water with a crowd of 25+ in the water. There were also some nice waves on Krupuk Pt and at the Colonels before the wind turned to the SSE – SE and on shore around 10.45AM.
Our afternoon surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban back here on Bali’s West coast also had some very nice waves. My crew surfed out at Kuta Reef with 3-4 footers peeling off for nearly 100mtrs and clean off shore wind. While Middle Reef was producing shorter rides pushing double head high on the sets.
Weather wise it was steaming hot on the sticky black sand beach, while the water temperature was perfect at 23-24 degree’s Celsius.
This morning the 2nd and it’s just gone 6.30AM here on the island of the God’s and we have a good looking day coming on for the lucky ones already here. The wind seems to be coming lightly out of the ENE and will more than likely dedicate to the ESE before too long.
Ok have a nice day and stay tuned here to the original Bali surf report website for more up dates through out the day.
