Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves (doing our best to keep you pumped up for your next Bali / Indonesian surf trip since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week with the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the place we’d all rather be, Bali.

Yesterday the 26th we made the call to surf here on Bali’s West Coast and arrived at our location around 8.45AM. We were also surprised to still find wave height in the solid 3-4ft range with solid 5 foot clean up sets on all 3 sections. On arrival surfing conditions were perfect with a light off shore wind but before we could get our boards out of the covers the wind switched to the West and started to crank up. But Ketut did manage to shoot these photos for us before conditions were totally blown out. It was good to see some of the Padma Boys out there totally ripping it up as usual.

Weather wise it was horrible with the midday temperature down to a cool 25 degree’s Celsius.

Today the 27th and our first surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing some ok waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running out at the time but there were ridable waves on all 3 of the main section in the waist to head high region. Our second update was showing, or should I say not showing much at all happening at 2.00PM.

Weather wise today it’s been another mostly overcast day again with a couple of bursts of sunshine. Temperature wise right now at 3.30PM is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is on 75%. Wind direction is now coming out of the W-WNW @ 3 -6 knot.

The next tide today in Bali will be a 1.6mtr High just before 5.00PM.
