Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (bringing you a little slice of Bali everyday since back in 1999) for our latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination called Bali.
This morning and the boys and I were up before sunrise getting our boards and gear ready for a short trip up the West Coast. As it shows in today’s 90 strong photo gallery it was well worth the effort. We arrived just before 7AM to find wave height hitting all main sections in the 3-4ft+ sector with a clean off shore wind and not too many surfers in the water. But as all good things, it didn’t last forever and within the hour it started to get pretty busy. But that didn’t tarnish the wave quality at all. We hung out for a couple of sessions, (1 x 3hr sess did me) then bailed out around 1.00PM as the wind shifted more to the WSW. Stand out surfers had to be Bali Legend Mr Ketut Menda and fellow Quiksilver Indonesia rider Mr Tipi Jabrik.
Weather wise it was hot and sunny all day with sunburn all round.
Tomorrow is looking like we might see some another new swell roll in so make sure ya’s stay tuned right here to the one and only original baliwaves surf report.
