Hi surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali / Indonesia since way back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s most friendliest tropical surfing holiday island called Bali.
Ok so we have indeed been busy the last couple of days, busy surfing our brains out that is. On the 7th we were surfing over at “Secrets” on the East Coast as per our Twitter Feed and were lucky enough to score it all to our selves, again.
Yesterday the 8th and it was half of our crew’s last day in Bali after 10 full on days on non stop surfing all over the island so we decided to just take it easy and surf here on the West Coast not too far from home. We arrived at Canggu around 7.45AM just as the tide was starting to run in to find wave height was still a solid 3-4ft on all sections (maybe the odd double head high freak set) and a clean off shore wind. So after two good surf sessions it was time to head home and start having a few farewell beers (farewell until next year Shuan, Rob, Jake & Coen). As it shows in this latest 87 strong photo gallery there was some sweet waves breaking and plenty rode by all.
Today the 9th and our 6.45am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing some 2-3ft+ waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind coming lightly outta the NE.
The next tide today will be a 2.2mtrHigh around 12.45PM
Weather wise it’s already shaping up for another perfect holiday type day here on the “Island of the Gods”
