Ok sorry about not posting any new photos but seeing as yesterday was pretty small and the wind funky through the morning and the fact that today we all went surfing. But we will be back out there doing our thing for ya’s tomorrow.

Yesterday the 24th we did take a run over to the East Coast to see if there was any waves at Serangan. Arriving at 8.00AM to sctualy find some nice shaped right handers with super clean and glassy conditions. And with only 15 or surfers in the water it was looking good. But as the tide started creeping in it was like as if someone had turned off the wave tap and it was back to 1ft by 10.00AM.

This morning the 25th and my first surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing a nice little new swell starting to break between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time 7.00AM the tide was almost on the bottom of the Low and the wind light out of the West. But surfing conditions were still clean and glassy with all 3 of the main sections delivering some nice waves.

Kuta Reef at the time was still a bit shallow and wave height was only showing in the 2-2ft+ range. Middle Reef had some ok shaped waves breaking in the 3-4ft class but there looked to be around 25 or more surfers on the small take off zone. So we opted for a paddle on Airport Left which had maybe 15 surfers out there. There were some nice waves peeling off and as the tide started to fill in the wave height crept into the head to well over head range. We had a nice and mellow crowd in the water and I think everyone was having a good time. Surfing conditions on the left were clean and glassy before the off shore SE’r kicked in at 10.30AM.

Weather wise outside today it’s been faultless, for Bali standards. Currently right now at 3.40PM the mercury is sitting on 30 dedree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 71%. Wind direction is caoming out of the ESE at 8-10knot+.

Travel Tip; I’ve seen a lot of airline damaged surf boards this year coming from all points of the globe, and that’s the last thing you want to find when you un pack your boards. So make sure you pack them up nice and secure cause those airlines don’t give a shit about your shooters.

This surfing contest is open to any surfers wanting to surf in the Open or Masters catogory and is going to be fun fun fun while it’s on.
