Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (the original baliwaves Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for today’s news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.

Ok friends here another 65 strong photo gallery that Ketut snapped off here on Bali’s West Coast this morning.

Our day kicked off with our 6.45am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. There was still some nice looking waves breaking out the front with 2-4 footers showing between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was just about on the bottom at the time so the focus was on Middle Reef which is better suited to the lower end of the tide. It was still too shallow on Kuta Reef and Airports. Wind direction was coming lightly out of the North.

So our crew headed back up to Canggu where we knew that wind would be coming clean off shore. Arriving around 8.30AM with the in coming tide. As it shows in the photos wave height was a consistent 3-4ft on all sections in the area. Once again the local surfers were dominating the right hander and putting on a high voltage performance. We hung out until midday and by that time the SE Tradewind had kicked in blowing cross / on shore at Canggu.

Weather wise, it’s Bali so it’s just been another hot and sunny day here on the “island of the Gods”. Hot and sunny on land with the water temperature just as good around the 24 degree Celsius Mark.

Ok that’s me for now but we are going to be back out there chasing waves somewhere in Bali again tomorrow so stay tuned to the original Bali surf report.

Trave Tip; I’ve seen a lot of airline damaged surf boards this year coming from all points of the globe, and that’s the last thing you want to find when you un pack your boards. So make sure you pack them up nice and secure cause those airlines don’t give a shit about your shooters.
