Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the with out a doubt No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.

Alright and here’s another 56 photos that we shot yesterday morning here on Bali’s West Coast.

Yesterday the 21st our day kicked off with a 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. At the time wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was ranging in the 2-4ft class with the best waves hitting Middle Reef while the tide was still low. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind light out of the N-NE.

So as it shows in today’s photo gallery we took the crew up the coast a little ways to Funggu. The tide was still running in we turned up but there were still some nice waves on all 3 of the main sections in this area. Wave height here was also in the 2-4ft class and I’d have to say that the left hand sand bar section was the best. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with a light off shore wind that hung around through till mid morning when the SE Trade wind took over. Crowd wise it was ok until the tide started filling in then it started to get a bit messy.

Weather wise it was another hot and sunny day here in Bali and what else would you expect right.

Today the 22nd and our compulsory morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban had wave height down in the waist to chest high plus class between Kuta Reef and Airports. At the time the wind was still light and variable before the Tradey kicked in around 8.45AM.

Just for something different Ketut made the call to go take a look at Keramas this morning but by the time he got there the wind was already on shore. But he called through saying there were still a few waves with some shape and only 10 surfers in the water.

I also loaded a couple of photos from the baliwaves free to view WEB CAM that over looks Impossibles down on the bukit. It was showing wave height in the 2-2ft+ range when the sets come through.

Weather wise outside right now at 11.00AM here in bali we have a mostly blue sky with some cloud passing through. Temperature wise the mercury is at a warm 29 degree’s Celsius and the wind fresh out of the E-SE at 10 – 12knot+

Traffic chaos still applies here in Bali, although slowly improving, make sure you allow plenty of time if your heading to the airport to get a flight if it’s a midday to evening departure

Travel tip, when you use an ATM here in Bali make sure there are no suspect characters hanging around, if there is ask them to move away. Also in Indonesia when you make a withdrawal from an ATM your cash comes out before your card, so remember to wait for your card before going to spend that money, it’s easy to forget especially when your used to your card coming out before the cash.
