BALI / INDONESIA
15th -16th July 2015
Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you stoked on Bali since 1999) for our latest news and best damn views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the Worlds No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 15th and our 6.45Am surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing wave height in the 3-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were pretty good at the time with the SE Trade wind already kicking in. There was no shortage of surfers on the scene with car parking space at a premium.
But as it shows you in our 98 photo gallery today we made our way down to the Southern end of the island to Uluwatu. hoping to find a little shelter from the by now strong off shore Trade wind. Arriving to find wave height in the solid head to double head high with a few bigger freak sets hitting the Main Peak. The tide was just passing through the High and crowd wise numbers were low on the Peak and up at Temple’s. It wasn’t all time perfect Uluwatu that’s for sure but if you were lucky and snagged one of the good one’s it woulda made your day for sure.
Our Impossibles WEB CAM was also showing some nice lines bending into the reef. So make sure ya’s keep an eye on this little gem while your here (Bali day light hours only of course)
Weather wise yesterday it was another classic hot and sunny day, as long as you could get outta the wind right.
The next tide today (16th July) will be a 2.4mtr High at 9.00AM and w do have a New Moon rising tonight.
I’d also like to give you a heads up for the Balcony Restaurant up in Jalan Benesar in Kuta for a good place to check out and great food. I took my guests up there last night.
Ok crew that’s me for now as I’ve gotta get cleaned up and back out there on the road to find some more waves with my team. Have a good one and stay tuned to the original Bali surf report website as I’ll be up dating through Twitter and Instagram through out the day (if I can get phone signal right)
