Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat views from here on the friendly little tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Ok this mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban only showing wave height in the waist to chest high region at best. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy at the time and the tide on the bottom of the Low.
So with that information I made my way back down to the Southern end of the island to Uluwatu. Arriving around 8.45AM just as the off shore SE Trade wind was kicking to find some perfect barrels grinding down through the low tide Racetrack section. As it shows in todays photo gallery there were some 3 – 4ft barrels while the tide was still low enough. There were also plenty of waves breaking on Temple’s and the Main Peak as the tide did fill back in.
Weather wise it was a mostly sunny morning down on the bukit but also plenty of cloud drifting through. Temperature wise the mercury peaked at 29 degree’s Celsius. The SE Trade wind also gained some momentum through out the day with gusts up to 15knot.
