BALI / INDONESIA
25th August 2015
Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the place you’d rather be, Bali.
Ok so our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height in the 2-4ft range. With the tide on the top of the High at the time the best waves were happening on Kuta Reef and Airport Left and I dare say there would have also been some waves breaking around at Airport Right as well. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with the wind light out of the East.
But as it shows in today’s 50 odd photo gallery we were up at Canggu surfing and shooting this morning. Arriving at 7.30AM to find wave in the 3-4ft+ range on all 3 of the main sections in the Canggu area. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and tidy with the wind also light cross / off shore.
Looking back South to Old Mans there was an usually high number of learner surfers in the water and likewise further down the line at Batu Bolong where the surf schools seem to have claimed.
Weather wise at Canggu it was a nice morning at first before the wind started shifting more to the West around 9.00AM and the cloud moved over. It actually looked like it was going to rain there for awhile. The SE Trade wind never really kicked in until midday today.

Ok that’s just about me for this evening but I do have another photo gallery from our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Resort and it looks like the lucky crew over in camp have been scoring some super fun waves. Plus we have another report and photos from the good guys at Kandui Surf Resort / Mentawai Islands and likewise they have been doing pretty good as well. So hang around and I should have them on line for ya’s ASAP.
