BALI INDONESIA
20th – 21st September 2015
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week and our latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on every sane surfers first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 20th the boys and I thought we’d sneak back over to the East Coast to see what was going down wave wise. Pulling into the Keramas car park just as the tide was starting to run back in, just, at around 8.30AM to find wave height a comfortable 3-4ft. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind light on shore out of the East. Crowd wise we were lucky cause there were only 8 surfers in the water first up and as the tide rolled in only peaked at 19 surfers. The waves were not too bad but it was very shallow, there was some reef rash handed out and a total of 5 surfboards broke in half while we were there. The wind did eventually get a stronger towards late morning out of the E-SE so we pulled stumps and headed back to home base.
Weather wise it was hot and sunny with a high sun burn factor over on the East Coast while we were on the scene.
I’ve also cut a few images from our free to view Impossibles Surf Cam over looking the line up and it looks like there’s still plenty of waves for the crew already in the water down there this morning.
Today the 21st and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was also still showing some nice waves in the 3-4ft+ range this morning. The tide was still running down at the time, 0.8mtr’s at 8.30AM so Middle Reef was looking the best and there were surfers in the water while we were on the beach. Should be a few nice one’s on Kuta reef and Airport Left and Airport Right by mid to late morning if the Trade wind doesn’t blow to hard when it kicks in.
I think we are heading down to Bali’s premier surfing location this morning, with a little more swell happening it should be cranking, fingers crossed.
Weather wise this morning we do have a mainly overcast sky with some patches of blue just starting to show. Wind direction is light out of the ENE at 2-3knot. Temperature wise right now at 7.40AM the mercury is sitting on 26 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 76%.
Ok friends we hope you have a good one what ever you may be tuning in from and don’t forget to keep an eye on our Twitter and Instagram feeds on baliwaves through out the day for more up dates.
