Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok well the last couple of days have been pretty full on for us over here with non stop waves and plenty of other stuff happening in between. So sorry I haven’t posted, but just by following our Twitter and Instagram feeds you would already have a good idea of what has been happening surf wise.
This current photo gallery was shot over on the East Coast on the 9th at Serangan. We were there at maybe 7.00AM to find some solid 4-6 footers A framing with only a hand full of surfers in the water. Surfing conditions as it shows were not too bad, the wind had already started to show out of the East but it was still pretty clean and glassy through until 9.45AM.
Yesterday the 10th and we were surfing back on Bali’s West Coast at Canggu. Turning up at 7.00AM to score some relatively un crowded head to well over head high waves on the river mouth right hander, then finishing off with 5 surfers on the left hand sand bar. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy until the SE Trade wind started to kick in at 9.00AM, But by that time we had had our fill. I’ll get the photos we shot from Canggu edited up today and give you a look at them asap ok.
My late afternoon surf recon on the Outer Reefs of Tuban wasn’t showing too much action happening with only 1-2ft waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left, and a strong off shore SE Trade wind.
Weather wise it was just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island with a cloud or two drifting through from time to time.
This morning the 11th and it’s still too dark for a surf check just yet but we’ll be heading out again to find the best waves on the island as usual. So keep an eye on our social media feeds to see what’s going down ok.
