Hi again crew and here’s the 62 photos I blasted off down at Uluwatu yesterday morning. As it shows there were some nice waves with the early birds getting the goods. Also great to see so many girl surfers brightening up the line up, yew ! Ok right now it’s just gone 6.00AM on the morning of the 12th, and stay tuned to the baliwaves for more up dates through out the day right. Ok friends it’s been another beautiful day here on the “island of the Gods” and today we were down on location at the place that started everything happening for Bali, Uluwatu. And I will get today’s photos edited up and on line for ya’s ASAP. But for now here’s 90+ photos that we smashed up at Canggu yesterday the 10th.
This morning the 11th and after our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was only showing wave height in the 1-2ft range, and the wind already strong outta the SE. So we didn’t really have much choice except to head down to the Southern end of the island to our wave magnet location of Uluwatu.
Arriving at 7.30AM to find wave height in the 2-3ft range with a few 4 foot freak sets every now and again on the Main Peak and Temple sections. Surfing conditions were clean enough with 10-15knot SE wind blowing straight off shore wind. Crowd wise there was still plenty of room to move through the morning but by late morning to midday the crowd was in force as usual.
Driving back home past Padang Padang and Impossibles it was pretty well flat on Padang2 but there were some 2ft lines bending down the reef on Impossibles. I’ve also loaded a few frams from our baliwaves free to view Impossible’s Web Cam.
Weather wise, what can I say except just another perfect hot and sunny day in paradise.
Hopefully tomorrow will bring us a little more swell through out the day and we will be back out there on the wave hunt. So keep an eye on our Twitter and instagram feeds on the baliwaves. Looking further out swell wise things are looking real good with the Indian Ocean starting to light up for the 14th – 15th and then more new swell coming in behind that.
The next moon phase is going to be a New Moon on the 13th so we will have plenty of tiday range for this new swell on the way.
