BALI / INDONESIA
12th September 2015
Hello surfers, thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (surf reports for surfers by surfers since 1999) and welcome to the weekend here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok and here’s another 60+ hot photos that we smashed down at Uluwatu this morning. We arrived around 7.30AM to find wave height had crept up a little bit in size and much more consistent that what it was the day before. Surfing conditions could not have been any better with the wind blowing cleanly off shore straight outta the East at 6 – 9knot.
The Main Peak was doing it’s thing and producing some really nice waves before the tide peaked. Likewise down on the Temple section there were some smoking rides going down. Crowd wise I’d have to say there were a few more in the water but plenty of waves and room for everyone down at Uluwatu this morning.
I had to bail out early as one of our team got hit in the head by his board and needed some stitches, so here’s the photos that I shot before leaving the 1000mm lens in Ketut’s capable hands. Our surfer is ok after I took him to our local clinic where the lovely Dr gave him 8 stitches in the noggin. Total cost including pain killers and antibiotics was AU$50.00 for a tidy job.
Ketut has just got back home now at 3.00PM with another 500 photos he shot so as soon as we sort them out we’ll get em loaded up for ya’s ok. So make sure ya stick around on Bali’s original surf report website.
I’ve also loaded a few frames from the baliwaves free to view Web Cam and it looks like there are some long and straight lines bending down the reef on Impossibles.
Weather wise it’s been another classic Bali type of day with pretty well nothing but blu sky and sunshine down at Uluwatu.
Have a good one boys and girls and we’ll be back with more of the latest again real soon. We might even sneak a sun set beer in this arvo seeing as though it’s Saturday night.
The next moon phase is going to be a New Moon on the 13th so we will have plenty of tiday range for this new swell on the way.
