BALI / INDONESIA
28th – 29th October 2015
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
Right so yesterday the 28th we were over on the East side of the island hunting for waves. Mainly because the West Coast was running out of options to escape the masses, with Uluwatu pretty much the only decent venue with any sort of power and shape. And we didn’t do too bad where we ended up surfing wave height was a consistent chest to over head with clean and glassy conditions and my team surfing a nice little sucky right hander with only 5 other surfers in the water to share the waves with.
Weather wise hot and sunny (as per usual here in Bali) with a light and variable wind before turning SSE through the afternoon.
Today the 29th and we headed back over to the East side again but to a different not so well know location. Arriving at 9.00AM as the tide was just starting to fill in to find wave height in the 2-3ft class with the occasional over head 4 foot set waves. There was both left and rights on offer. The main break already had 8 surfers on so we choose another A frame left and right a hundred mtrs away for ourselves. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy at first before the wind started to shift to the S-SSE around late morning.
Weather wise, well you should know by now right… hot and sunny !
