BALI / INDONESIA
19th – 20th October 2015
Hey surfers, great to have you back again here at the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since back in 1999) for the latest news and our best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok here we go again crew with another 50 odd photos for ya’s that we shot partly up at Canggu yesterday and this morning down at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. I’ve gotta keep this short and sweet text wise and that will probably make’s happy anyway. Cause today just happens to be taco Tuesday and the boys are keen so it’s almost time to start prepping for it.
This morning’s surf check on the Outer reefs was showing wave height in the 2-3ft range with maybe even a slightly over head set wave hitting Middle Reef while the tide was out. At the time surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming lightly outta the East.
So with good intentions we headed South down to Ulu hoping to score some clean 3-5 footers. But by the time we were down on the bukit we could see that the wind had swung back around to the West, but still it was only light and surfing conditions were clean and glassy. Wave height was at first in the 2-4ft range but as the tide pushed in there were some double head high set waves hitting the Main Peak. The wind how ever tended more to the South West then the South, South South East with the SE Trade wind eventually kicking in early afternoon. Crowd wise there were hardly any surfers down on the scene early but by late morning there would have been 50 boys and girls scattered from the Peak down through the Racetrack.
Weather wise, Bali is usually just hot and sunny and today was no exception.
Ok friends I’m done but stay tuned right here cause it just don’t stop here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
