BALI / INDONESIA
24th October 2015
Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by your baliwaves (keeping you in tune with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok we were up fairly early again this morning and on the road to find some un crowded waves for our current crew that are staying with us. We arrived at our first destination that’s called “Secrets” around 6.30Am to find clean off shore wind and perfect mini sized 1-2ft waves with no other surfers in sight. But my crew needed more than knee to waist high waves cause they are big boys.
So we back track to our secondary location of “Find Outs” to find wave height a more fun sized 2-4ft with surfing conditions clean and glassy. There were already around 10 surfers in the water here but there was plenty of left and right handers peeling off. And as the tide ran out the waves only got better and the crowd thinned out some more.
Tomorrow is another day and we will be back out there on the wave hunt. So far in the last 9 days we have covered 7 different breaks here in Bali. So if your interested in surfing perfect waves and seeing a lot of different locations here in Bali make sure you contact us and come hang out with the baliwaves crew.
Weather wise today it was just another hot and sunny Saturday and I reckon the mercury would have easily busted through into the 30’s on the Celsius scale. Light and variable wind through the morning before the ESE Trade wind kicked in late morning and slowly but surely increased in strength, currently blowing hard off shore in the 15- 20knot+ class.
Oh yeah and make sure you hard working ex pats keep a copy of your business visa on you at all times as I was asked for mine only a few days back, luckily I carry a photo copy with me at all times as I’m a tax payer in Bali and do have the paper work to prove it. Remember if your making money in Bali, you need to have the correct VISA. Don’t be a tax cheat do the right thing.
