BALI / INDONESIA
12th November 2015
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (The otiginal Bali sur report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the happy little wave riddled holiday island of Bali.
This morning we were up early again and heading down South to hopefully score some more good and un crowded waves. Arriving at our destination sometime around 6.30AM to find 6 surfers in the water with wave height in the 1-3ft+ range (waist to head high and a few over head high sets). Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind just an ever so light off shore breeze before glassing off half an hour later. Crowd wise the No did go as high as 10 surfers but there were maybe almost half that number not really catching too many. The wind did turn cross shore coming out of the SSE sometime around 9.00AM. Take a flick through the 50+ photos we have loaded for you.
Weather wise we did have an overcast start to our day here on the holiday island but by 7.00AM it was already clearing away for another mainly hot and sunny day. Temperature wise right now at 2.35PM the mercury is a warm 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is on 81%. Wind direction is coming outta the S-SSE at 11 – 16knot.
On the Volcano scene it looks like, and fingers crossed that Mt Renjani is starting to behave itself again and most people that have been stranded in Bali (heck of a place to be stranded by the way) have made their way onto flights or soon to be on a flight back to their homes. I know Garuda and Air Asia have been operationg normally for awhile now. So take that into account when you book your next Indo surf trip. We’d just hate to have these low numbers in the surf all the time bahahahaha.
