BALI / INDONESIA
23rd – 24th November 2015
Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane destination choice for your next hard earned tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Well I do have to say that after 20+ years of living here (full time) I’m just as stoked as ever to be here in Bali. The Balinese people and their culture have so much going for them, always a smile for you and always welcoming us foreigners to their beautiful island. If you want a tropical island experience then Bali has got to be on your list. For the surfers you will well and truelly be in the real surfers paradise with perfect waves all year round. For the party goers it’s New Year’s Eve every night of the week on the night club strip. There is also so much to see and do once you get out of Kuta and emerge into some Balinese culture and sights. Bali is also your jump off point to start exploring the other nearby islands, once the bug bites again. So do yourself a favor and get your ticket to “the island of the God’s” booked today
Ok back to the surf and here’s today’s 50+ photos that we shot over on the East Coast of Bali yesterday the 23rd. Ketut was on the scene by 8.00AM and as it shows there were some very pretty little fun sized waves for the crew of 20 surfers that were in the water. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy even though the wind was light on shore.
Today the 24th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was again showing waves in the 1-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left while the tide was up. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind light out of the East.
Weather wise outside this morning at 10.00AM we have a mostly blue sky with a couple of clouds drifting through. The temperature has already reached 31 degree’s Celsius and is still climbing, Humidity level is at 74%. Wind direction is coming out of the East at 2-5knot. Sunset is due at 6.23PM.
We are also rapidly approaching the Full Moon set to rise on the 26th so get ready for some solid tidal differences over the next week.
Alrighty then that’s us friend as I’ve got to start getting ready for a special off island trip that’s also coming up hard and fast. But stay tuned as we’ll be keeping you in the loop same as ever.
