BALI / INDONESIA
5th – 6th January 2016
Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s real surfers paradise, Bali.
Ok yesterday morning the 5th we were up long before the sparrows and on the way up Bali’s West Coast in search of some long, clean and un crowded waves. And that’s about exactly what we did get. It was a shame wave height was only in the 2-3ft class cause the conditions, off shore wind and high tide were all in place. But ya can’t have it all every time right, but the best factor was that there were only half a dozen of us in the water sharing the waves.
Weather wise it also could not have been better and thank God for zinc cream as that sun was hammering us by 8.30AM, nothing but blue sky and sun shine.
Today the 6th and Ketut took a run down to Uluwatu this morning to see what was going down. Our man reckons it was pretty ordinary through the morning high tide but as the tide did start running out the Racetrack section was working nicely in the 2-4ft+ class..Weather wise out there today it’s just been a repeat of yesterday with plenty of blue sky and sun shine for the lucky one’s still hanging out in Bali. We’ll drop ya’s a fresh photo gallery from Uluwatu’s Racetrack section first thing tomorrow morning.
Ok crew we’ll be out hunting for the best waves in Bali again tomorrow so make sure you stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report website ok.

While I’m still here I better remind you new crew that’ll be coming to Bali about sun protection while your out surfing. Especially if your fair skinned and not used to the harsh tropical sun. Keep that sun screen and zinc cream on thick and don’t stay out in the water for too long until you start to get some color. I’ve seen some terrible sun burned victims of late that have really no one to blame but there silly selves.
And while your at it make sure you drink at least a couple of liters of water everyday, that’s at least. So skip the soft drink and have a bottle of water and you’ll really be doing yourself a favor.
