BALI / INDONESIA
14th – 15th February 2016
HI folks and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf trip since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week here on the always in season No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so we ended up heading down to Uluwatu yesterday, with a light and variable wind and not much swell out there we knew Ulu was a pretty safe bet to get some fun sized waves. So here’s a bit of a mixed photo gallery from our days events. Wave height as it shows was mainly in the 2-3ft class with the off over head freak set hitting the Main Peak. The wind was light and variable and the number of surfers in the water not too bad at all. But by early afternoon the High tide did knock the shit out of it so it was time to pack up before the Sunday afternoon circus showed up. I also did a 15 minute live video stream with my mobile web cam so check it out in our Twitter section on the sight, I also did another 15 minute feed featuring a Bali West Coast sun set that you might get a laugh out of.
Weather wise it was a warm and humid day down on the bukit and we didn’t run into any rain.
This morning the 15th and it’s just gone 6.55AM and time to get the show back on the road and go find some more waves. So stay tuned to Bali via our Twitter and Instagram feeds.
Anyone waiting on an email reply please have a little patience as I’ll be addressing my “in box” this afternoon or tomorrow. As a surfer I don’t really like typing full stop and especially not on the weekends, I hope you can understand.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 0.6mtr Low around 8.30AM
Weather wise out there this morning I can see plenty of blue sky so we are in for some good beach weather today.
