BALI / INDONESIA
26th February 2016
Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf trip since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views from all over the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so to kick off today’s report here’s 45 photos that we shot over on the East Coast of Bali yesterday morning. The color is pretty ordinary as we were almost shooting straight into the rising sun. But as the photos show wave height was a good head to double head high plus with both left and rights peeling off. Surfing conditions through the morning sess were clean and glassy before the wind shifted to the WSW late morning.
Today the 26th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height to be in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport left. Surfing conditions were not the best with a little chop on the face from the WNW wind (at the time).
Weather wise outside right now at 9.00AM we have a light overcast sky with the mercury already sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is on 77%. Wind direction is coming pretty well out of the West at 7knot and may turn more to the WSW by afternoon.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 2.3mtr High at 12 noon.
Ok folks that’s me for now but make sure you stick around for more up dates through Twitter and Instagram through out the day. There are so many great surfing locations here on the island of Bali and we are happy to show you as many of them as we can each week.
First off for me this morning is back into the busy metropolis of Denpasar city into the Australian Embassy. Lucky I called them first the other day and found out that you actually need to make an appointment to go there, so two days later I get my appointment. New Passport, then new work permit for another 12 months.
